National Museum of Ireland
The National Museum of Ireland is Ireland’s leading museum institution
It first opened it’s doors in 1890 and is a must see attraction for its archaeological collections. The museum is located on Kildare Street and is a short 3 minute walk from the hotel. It is home to a range of iconic treasures, including the Ardagh Chalice, the ‘Tara’ Brooch and the famous Derrynaflan Hoard.
Visitors will get to see important archaeological artefacts dating from 7000BC up to the 20th Century. Admission to the museum is free and there are year-round workshops, talks and tours for all ages.
